Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Blaise

1. Your Right to Opt Out

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information. Under the CCPA:

  • “Sale” means making personal information available to a third party in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration.
  • “Sharing” means making personal information available to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, whether or not for monetary or other valuable consideration.

2. How Blaise Uses Your Personal Information

Blaise operates a four-sided marketplace connecting Creators, Businesses, Customers, and platform administrators. In the course of operating the Platform, Blaise may share certain categories of personal information with third parties as described below.

2.1 Information That May Be Shared

Blaise may share the following categories of personal information with Business partners through the Platform's structured analytics features:

  • Creator Performance Data: Redemption counts, conversion rates, campaign performance metrics, and aggregated audience demographics associated with creator campaigns.
  • Customer Transaction Data: Aggregated and anonymized purchase data, redemption activity, and demographic trends shared with Businesses through Premium and Enterprise analytics tiers.
  • Device and Usage Data: Aggregated analytics data (page views, session duration, feature usage) that may be shared with analytics service providers to improve Platform performance.

Blaise does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary consideration. However, certain data sharing described above may constitute “sharing” under the CCPA's broad definition, as it may be used by Business partners for their own marketing and advertising purposes.

2.2 Information We Do Not Sell or Share

Blaise does not sell or share the following categories of personal information:

  • Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, or tax identification numbers
  • Financial account numbers, credit card numbers, or bank account details
  • Precise geolocation data
  • Biometric information
  • Health or medical information
  • Contents of private messages between users
  • Passwords or account credentials

3. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information through any of the following methods:

3.1 Online Opt-Out

Submit your opt-out request by using the toggle below. You will be asked to verify your identity (sign in to your Blaise account) before your request is processed.

Sign in to manage your preference.

3.2 Email Request

Send an email to legal@joinblaise.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” Include your full name, the email address associated with your Blaise account, and your account type (Creator, Business, or Customer). We will verify your identity before processing your request.

3.3 Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Blaise honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser or browser extension. If you have GPC enabled, Blaise will automatically treat your visit as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser. No additional action is required on your part.

You can enable GPC by installing a GPC-compatible browser or browser extension. For more information, visit globalprivacycontrol.org.

3.4 Authorized Agent

You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. If you use an authorized agent, we may require: (a) signed written permission from you authorizing the agent to act on your behalf, and (b) verification of your own identity directly with Blaise. Authorized agent requests should be submitted to legal@joinblaise.com.

4. What Happens After You Opt Out

Once we process your opt-out request:

  • We will stop sharing your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
  • Your Platform experience will not change. You will continue to have full access to all features available to your account type and tier level.
  • Aggregated data may still be used. Your opt-out applies to identifiable personal information. De-identified or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you may continue to be used for analytics and Platform improvement.
  • Service providers are not affected. Blaise will continue to share your personal information with service providers who process data on our behalf (such as payment processors, hosting providers, and customer support tools). These are not “sales” or “sharing” under the CCPA because service providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes.
  • Processing time: We will process your opt-out request within fifteen (15) business days of receiving a verified request.

5. Non-Discrimination

Blaise will not discriminate against you for exercising your right to opt out. We will not:

  • Deny you access to the Platform or any of its features
  • Charge you different prices or rates for products or services
  • Provide you with a different level or quality of service
  • Suggest that you will receive a different level of service or different prices

This right is protected under Cal. Civ. Code §1798.125.

6. Opting Back In

If you have previously opted out and wish to opt back in to the sale or sharing of your personal information, you may do so by:

  • Visiting this page and using the toggle above to select the opt-in option
  • Sending an email to legal@joinblaise.com with the subject line “Opt Back In to Data Sharing”

When you opt back in, Blaise will clearly explain what categories of information will be shared and with whom, and will require you to affirmatively confirm your choice. You may opt out again at any time.

7. Personal Information of Minors

Blaise does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under the age of 16. All Blaise users must be at least 18 years of age to create an account, as set forth in our Terms of Service. If Blaise becomes aware that it has collected personal information from a user under 16, we will delete that information promptly in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
