Blaise is a free platform that allows creators to partner with real brick-and-mortar businesses and earn commissions, gifting and monetary payments by driving in-store traffic and sales — with full tracking, attribution, and analytics.
Yes. Blaise is 100% free for creators to join and use. Creators will never pay a single cent on Blaise.
Visit joinblaise.com and click "Sign Up." You'll create your account, fill out your Creator profile, submit at least one public social media account, and select your content niches. Once submitted, your profile will be reviewed and you'll be notified when you're approved.
Blaise currently supports Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You can connect one or all three to your Creator Portfolio. You must have a public account on at least one of these platforms to be eligible for discovery and partnerships.
Yes. You must authenticate at least one of your public social media accounts to be eligible for discovery and partnerships on Blaise. You may be asked to re-authenticate every 90 days to maintain valid authentication — this is standard practice among influencer marketing platforms. Don’t worry — your login credentials are never stored. Blaise only receives profile information to authenticate your account and provide insights on your performance.
After you complete your profile, your account will be reviewed. Once approved, you’ll have full access to your Creator Dashboard where you can browse campaigns, claim offers, track earnings, and more. You’ll receive a notification when your account is active.
Absolutely. Blaise works with businesses that have a physical presence anywhere — not just major metros. You can browse campaigns and offers filtered by location, and many businesses are looking to work with local creators who have authentic connections to their community. Your influence in your own personal or social network is what matters.
Yes. Blaise takes your privacy seriously. Your social media login credentials are never stored — Blaise only receives profile information needed to authenticate your account and track performance. Demographic information in your portfolio is optional and is only used to help businesses find relevant creators for their campaigns.
Because Blaise pays creators real commissions, we may occasionally need to verify your identity — especially when setting up payouts or if unusual account activity is detected. Blaise reserves the right to request government-issued identification (such as a driver’s license or passport), proof of address, or social media account ownership verification. This protects both you and the platform from fraud. If requested, you’ll need to provide documentation within a reasonable timeframe to avoid any disruption to your account or pending payouts.
Campaigns are structured partnerships created by businesses that typically include specific deliverables (like a certain number of posts or videos), a set commission rate, and may include monetary payments or gifting. Campaigns require you to apply, and the business reviews and approves creators. Offers, on the other hand, are instant — you can claim an offer from a business immediately with no approval needed, receive your unique QR code, and start earning commissions right away.
Go to "Browse Campaigns" in your dashboard. You can search by business name, filter by Campaign Type, enter your City, State, or ZIP code for location-based results, and select from niche categories like Fashion, Beauty, Food & Dining, Fitness, Lifestyle, Travel, Technology, Home Decor, Pets, Entertainment, Health & Wellness, Parenting, Sports, and Automotive. You can also sort results by newest first.
Blaise uses AI for smart matching suggestions based on a Creator’s profile. Their location, content style, audience, and brand alignment, for example. Creators can browse and apply to business campaign opportunities; and businesses can invite Creators to join their campaigns and offers.
When you find a campaign you’re interested in, click on it to view the full details — including the commission rate (if applicable), gifting value (if applicable), monetary rate (if applicable), and what the business is looking for. If it’s a good fit, submit your application. The business will review your profile and you’ll be notified whether you’re accepted or not. You can track all of your applications and their statuses (Under Review, Accepted, or Rejected) from the "My Applications" page.
Yes! Tap the heart icon on any campaign to save it to your "Favorite Campaigns" page. This makes it easy to revisit opportunities you’re considering without losing track of them.
Once accepted, the partnership will appear on your "My Partnerships" page. You’ll see all the details: your payment amount, discount percent, commission rate, required content deliverables (e.g., "1 Instagram Post, 1 TikTok Video"), the campaign’s valid-until date, and deliverable notes with specific instructions. From there, you can start creating content and upload it directly through your Blaise dashboard.
Deliverables are the specific content a business expects you to create as part of a partnership. For example, a business might require 1 Instagram post and 1 TikTok video featuring their products, with specific hashtags or location tags. You’ll see all deliverable details and notes on your partnership card, and you can upload your completed content directly through the "Upload Content" button.
Offers are a quick way to start earning. Browse available offers from local businesses, claim one instantly (no approval needed), and you’ll receive your own unique QR code. Share that code with your audience (via a simple copy and paste link option). When a customer redeems it in-store or at checkout, you automatically earn a commission. It’s that simple.
When you claim an offer or join a campaign partnership, Blaise generates a unique QR code tied to you. Share this code with your audience through your social media, stories, posts; via text, email, or any other avenue you communicate with your network. When a customer scans your code at the business, the redemption is tracked and attributed directly to you — and you earn a commission.
Yes. Just like campaigns, you can tap the heart icon on any offer to save it to your "Favorite Offers" page for easy access later.
Yes, offers can expire. On your "My Offers" page, you’ll see your active and expired offers clearly separated into tabs. The stats at the top show how many are Active, Expired, how many Saves your offers have, your total Redemptions, and how much you’ve Earned.
Yes! You can claim as many offers as you’d like. Each offer gives you a unique QR code, and you can promote multiple businesses simultaneously. There’s no limit to how many offers you can have active at once.
No. Blaise provides built-in digital contractual agreements for Creator campaigns and automated tracking for earnings so Creators can focus on creating, not worrying about administrative and legal logistics — Blaise takes care of that for you.
When a business creates a partnership with you, Blaise generates a digital contract. The business signs first, and then you can review and sign. Once both parties sign, the contract is fully executed. You can view all your contracts on the "Contracts" page, filtered by "All," "Ready to Sign," or "Signed." Blaise handles all the legal logistics so you can focus on creating.
Each partnership card on your dashboard shows your payment amount, discount percentage for customers, your commission rate, required content deliverables (e.g., number of posts and videos), the campaign’s valid-until date, and detailed deliverable notes with specific instructions from the business. You’ll also see tags indicating the type of compensation — such as Commission, Monetary, or Gifting.
Blaise partnerships can include three types of compensation: Commission (a percentage you earn on every customer redemption), Monetary (a flat payment for your work), and Gifting (free products or services from the business). Partnerships can combine multiple types — for example, you might receive a product gift plus commission on sales.
An Ambassadorship is a longer-term brand partnership where a business invites you to represent their brand on an ongoing basis. Unlike one-time campaigns, ambassadorships are deeper relationships. You’ll see your Active Programs, pending Invitations, Total Redemptions, and Total Earnings from ambassadorships all in one place on the "Ambassadorships" page.
Businesses invite creators to become their ambassadors based on profile alignment, past performance, and audience fit. You can also browse available ambassador offers by clicking "Browse Ambassador Offers" on the Ambassadorships page. When a business invites you, you’ll receive a notification and the invitation will appear on your dashboard.
Creators earn commissions when customers redeem their unique Blaise QR code or offer in-store or at checkout. Every redemption is tracked, verified, and attributed directly to you. Creators can also earn monetary payments and gifting from businesses.
Payments are sent via Stripe to Creator’s bank account, based on completed redemptions and business payout cycles. Creator earnings are tracked to show "All-time", "Year-to-Date", "Pending", "Available" as well as categorized by "Total Redemptions", "From Offer", "From Campaigns."
Your earnings come from customer redemptions of your QR code or offer. When a customer scans your code and completes a purchase, the business records the sale and Blaise tracks the transaction. Your commission is calculated based on the agreed-upon rate (e.g., 5% of the sale) and is added to your "Pending" earnings.
"Pending" earnings are commissions from completed sales that are still in a verification period. This verification includes fraud screening and ensuring the customer didn’t return their purchase. Once this period is complete and the commission is verified, it moves to "Available for Payout" status, which means it’s ready to be paid to your bank account on the next scheduled payout date.
Go to "Earnings" in your Creator Dashboard. You’ll see your total earnings broken down by "All-time," "Year-to-Date," "Pending," and "Available." You can also filter by commission source: "From Offers," "From Campaigns," and "From Referrals." Click on any time period to see detailed transaction history.
When a customer redeems your code, the transaction appears as "Pending" immediately in your dashboard. The pending period typically lasts 7–14 days, depending on the business’s payout cycle and Blaise’s verification process. Once verified, it moves to "Available for Payout" and will be sent to your bank account on the next scheduled payout date (typically Fridays).
Yes. On your "Earnings" page, you’ll find an "Export" or "Download" button that allows you to download your earnings history as a CSV or PDF file. This is helpful for personal record-keeping or for your own tax records.
Yes. Any income earned through Blaise is taxable income, and you are responsible for paying applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Blaise is not a tax professional, and we cannot provide tax advice. You should consult a qualified tax professional to understand your tax obligations and filing requirements.
Yes. If your Blaise earnings meet IRS reporting requirements (typically $600 or more in a calendar year), you will receive a Form 1099-NEC (Nonemployee Compensation) or Form 1099-MISC (Miscellaneous Income) from Blaise, depending on the type of income. Blaise will send this form to you and the IRS by January 31 of the following year.
Yes. If your earnings are expected to meet IRS reporting thresholds, Blaise will request a W-9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) from you. You’ll complete this form as part of your onboarding or when you set up payouts. The information on your W-9 is used to generate your 1099 form at year-end.
Yes. Blaise takes data security seriously. When you submit your W-9 information through the Blaise platform, it is encrypted and stored securely in compliance with relevant data protection regulations. Your Social Security Number and other sensitive information are protected with industry-standard security measures.
Blaise collects your Social Security Number (SSN) as part of the W-9 process to comply with IRS requirements for reporting income. This number is used solely to generate accurate 1099 tax reporting documents at year-end. Your SSN is treated as highly sensitive information and is encrypted and stored securely.
Self-employment tax is a Social Security and Medicare tax for individuals who work for themselves. If you are classified as a self-employed creator on Blaise (rather than a traditional employee), you may be responsible for self-employment tax in addition to income tax. Generally, if your net earnings from self-employment exceed $400, you are required to file Schedule SE and pay self-employment tax. Consult a tax professional for your specific situation.
No. Blaise is not a tax professional and does not provide tax advice. The information provided about taxes, 1099 forms, and self-employment tax is for general informational purposes only. You should consult a qualified tax professional or accountant to understand your specific tax obligations and filing requirements.
Commissions may be reversed for several specific reasons: the customer returned, cancelled, or modified their purchase; the transaction was tracked through another platform creating a duplicate attribution claim; the purchase involved items explicitly excluded from commission eligibility by the business; the transaction was flagged as fraudulent, involved a duplicate order, or had a payment authorization failure; or a promotional code or method that violates the platform’s terms was used. If you believe a reversal was made in error, contact support. Keep in mind that commission rates are estimates and may fluctuate based on business decisions — Blaise acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for business-side commission changes.
It depends on why the account was closed. If you voluntarily close your account and have no policy violations, any commissions that have fully cleared all eligibility requirements (transaction verified, holdback period complete, fraud review cleared) will be paid out within sixty (60) days. However, if your account is terminated for cause — such as fraud, policy violations, or illegal activity — pending commissions may be forfeited entirely. This is why it’s important to follow all platform guidelines and the Terms of Service.
Achievements is Blaise’s gamification system that rewards you for your activity and success on the platform. You start at Level 1 (Newcomer) and earn XP (experience points) to level up. You’ll earn badges across five categories: Redemption Milestones, Earnings Achievements, Partnership Goals, Referral Achievements, and Special Recognition — with 15 total badges to collect. You can also see your Weekly, Monthly, and All-Time rank compared to other creators.
You earn XP in four ways: completing customer redemptions (10 XP each), earning badges (50–2,000 XP per badge), starting new partnerships (25 XP each), and completing campaigns (50 XP each). As your XP grows, you’ll progress through creator levels. For example, you need 100 XP to reach Level 2.
Yes! On the Achievements page, click "Share Profile" to share your badges and creator level with your audience or on social media. It’s a great way to showcase your credibility and track record to potential business partners.
It’s simple: share your unique referral link with friends, colleagues, or your audience. When someone uses your link to sign up as a creator or business and gets approved, you earn $50. There’s no limit to how many people you can refer — the more you share, the more you earn.
During the current limited-time launch incentive, you earn $50 for every creator or business you refer who gets approved. This incentive will reset to $25 in the future, so now is the best time to start sharing your referral link.
Referral bonuses are paid for creator and business referrals only. Customer referrals are not eligible for the referral bonus. The referred person must sign up using your unique referral link and be approved on Blaise for you to receive the bonus.
Referral bonuses are paid out on the regular Friday payout schedule once the referred user is approved. You can track your referral activity — including Signed Up, Approved, Total Earned, and Pending Payout — on the "Invite & Earn" page.
Go to "Invite & Earn $50" in your dashboard sidebar. You’ll see your unique referral link and referral code. You can copy the link directly or use the Share button to easily share it through your preferred channels.
Your Portfolio is your creator profile on Blaise — it’s what businesses see when deciding whether to partner with you. It includes your bio, social media accounts and follower counts, content niches, external links, demographics, and portfolio samples. A complete, well-crafted portfolio makes you more attractive to businesses and increases your chances of being matched with relevant campaigns.
Go to "Portfolio" in your dashboard sidebar. From there, you can update your bio (up to 500 characters), edit your social media handles and follower counts for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, select your content niches, add up to 3 external links, update your demographic information, and add up to 20 portfolio samples (links to your best social posts, blogs, videos, etc.). Don’t forget to click "Save Portfolio" when you’re done.
Blaise includes an AI-powered tool to help you write your bio. If you’re not sure what to say or want to polish your bio, click the "Write with AI" button in the Bio section of your Portfolio. It will generate a professional bio based on your profile that you can use as-is or customize further.
Blaise offers 20 content niche categories: Fashion, Beauty, Fitness, Food, Travel, Lifestyle, Tech, Gaming, Parenting, Home, Pets, Wellness, Finance, Education, Entertainment, Sports, Automotive, Art, Music, and Photography. Select all the categories that best describe your content to help businesses find you for relevant campaigns.
The Demographics section — including gender, date of birth, ethnicity, household income, marital status, family, pets, and upcoming life events — is entirely optional. However, filling it out helps businesses connect with you for highly relevant campaigns and offers. For example, a baby product company might look for creators who are expecting, or a pet brand might seek creators with dogs. The more Blaise knows about you, the better it can match you with the right opportunities.
Portfolio Samples are links to your best work — social posts, blog articles, YouTube videos, TikTok content, or any other content you want to showcase to businesses. You can add up to 20 samples. Think of this as your highlight reel that shows businesses what you’re capable of creating.
Blaise keeps you informed through notifications across several categories: Messages from Businesses (general and direct messages), Partnership Opportunities (new opportunities and updates), Performance Updates (weekly performance summaries), Applications (submission confirmations, acceptances, and rejections), Invite & Earn (referral signup notifications), Earnings (weekly earnings roundups and payout confirmations), and Ambassadorships (ambassador invitations).
Yes. Go to the "Notifications" page in your dashboard and scroll down to "Notification Settings." You can customize each notification type individually, choosing between Email and Mobile Notifications, Email Notifications only, or other available options. This lets you control exactly how and when you’re alerted about activity on your account.
Your dashboard home page gives you a quick snapshot of your activity: Favorite Campaigns, Favorite Offers, Applications Under Review, and Active Partnerships. You’ll also see Quick Actions to Browse Campaigns, View Applications, and Manage Partnerships, along with your Account Information showing your email, role, and account status.
Yes! You can toggle between light and dark mode using the Theme switch at the bottom of your dashboard sidebar. Choose whichever is most comfortable for your eyes.
Yes — and you’ll earn money for it. When you refer a business to join Blaise using your unique referral link and they get approved, you earn a referral bonus (currently $50 during the launch incentive). This is a great way to bring your favorite local businesses onto the platform and create partnership opportunities for yourself and other creators.
Blaise is built specifically to connect creators with brick-and-mortar businesses — not just e-commerce brands. Every redemption is tracked through a verified QR code system, so there’s no guessing about your impact. You get real attribution, real data, and real earnings. Plus, Blaise is completely free for creators, handles all contracts and administrative logistics, and offers multiple ways to earn: commissions, flat monetary payments, gifting, and referral bonuses.
It depends on the campaign or offer. Some partnerships specify deliverables like Instagram posts, TikTok videos, or Stories with specific hashtags and location tags. For offers you claim on your own, you simply share your unique QR code however works best for your audience — whether that’s a social media post, Story, in-person conversation, or even a text to friends. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach; Blaise works with your style.
Once your account is approved, you can start earning right away. Claim an offer from the "Browse Offers" page — no application or approval needed — and you’ll instantly receive a unique QR code. Share it with your audience, and you’ll earn commission on every redemption. Campaign partnerships may take a little longer since they involve an application and approval process, but offers give you an immediate path to income.
Yes. Blaise is designed to complement your existing creator work, not replace it. You can use Blaise alongside other platforms, sponsorships, and collaborations. Many creators use Blaise specifically for storefront business partnerships while continuing their other content and brand deals.
Blaise has separate dashboards for Creators, Businesses, and Customers. If you’re a business owner who also creates content, you could certainly use both. However, creator and business accounts serve different purposes on the platform, therefore, you will need to apply for two separate Blaise user accounts with two separate email addresses.
Yes — this is required by law. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that you clearly and conspicuously disclose any material connection when you promote a product or business and could earn money from it. Because you earn commissions through your Blaise QR code, every piece of content you create promoting a Blaise partner business must include a clear disclosure — such as #ad or #sponsored — placed conspicuously (not buried in hashtags or at the end of a long caption). This applies to Instagram posts, TikTok videos, YouTube content, Stories, and any other format.
Your disclosure must clearly communicate that you have a financial relationship with the business you’re promoting. Use straightforward language like "#ad," "#sponsored," or "Paid partnership with [Business Name]." The disclosure must appear in the same format as your content — visually for images and video, audibly for audio, and both for audiovisual content. It should be at or near the beginning of your post, not hidden in a long list of hashtags. For longer-form content like YouTube videos, disclose both at the beginning and periodically throughout.
Failure to include proper FTC disclosures can result in consequences from both the FTC and Blaise. The FTC can take enforcement action directly against creators who fail to disclose material connections — including financial penalties. On the Blaise side, non-compliance may result in content removal requests, warnings, commission forfeiture, account suspension, or termination. Blaise reserves the right to review your content at any time for compliance with disclosure requirements. It’s always better to over-disclose than under-disclose.
Blaise reserves the right to review your content, social media accounts, and promotional activities at any time for compliance with FTC disclosure requirements and platform policies. While Blaise does not pre-screen every piece of content, we take compliance seriously. If we identify content that lacks proper disclosure or contains misleading claims, we may request corrections, remove content, or take other action as outlined in our Terms of Service. Ultimately, you are responsible for ensuring your content meets all FTC and legal requirements.
No. Creators are prohibited from using paid search campaigns or pay-per-click advertising to promote their association with Blaise or any Business on the platform. This includes bidding on keywords related to Blaise, specific business names, or brand-related terms. The reason is simple: Blaise’s value is built on authentic, organic creator-to-audience relationships. Paid search undermines that model and can create unfair advantages. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all commissions.
No. Listing, sharing, or distributing your Blaise QR codes or any Blaise-generated promotional codes on external coupon websites (like RetailMeNot), discount aggregator apps, browser extension tools (like Honey), or similar platforms is strictly prohibited. Blaise’s attribution model is built on direct creator-to-audience relationships, and posting codes on third-party coupon sites undermines both the attribution system and the value you bring as a creator. Intentional violation of this policy may result in immediate and permanent account suspension, plus reversal of all related commissions.
No — not without explicit written permission from Blaise. Developing, distributing, or utilizing any software, applications, or browser extensions that interact with, alter, or relate to Blaise’s services is prohibited unless Blaise has given you written consent. This protects the integrity of the platform’s tracking and attribution systems.
Healthy competition is fine, but direct interference is not. You may not interfere with, manipulate, or undermine another creator’s QR codes, attribution, or promotional activities. This means you cannot replace or obscure another creator’s QR code, encourage customers to bypass another creator’s attribution, or redirect traffic away from another creator’s promotions. Blaise’s non-interference policy exists to protect all creators on the platform equally. Violations may result in suspension and commission forfeiture.
No — you retain ownership of all content you create and post. However, by publishing content on or in connection with Blaise, you grant Blaise a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, and promote that content across the platform and related channels. This license is necessary for Blaise to display your portfolio, showcase campaign content, and operate the platform. If you remove your content from Blaise, the license continues to apply to any copies or uses made prior to removal.
No. Commission rates, campaign details, creative briefs, business performance data, discount codes, and other non-public information you receive through Blaise are considered confidential. You may not disclose, publish, or share this information publicly — including on social media, forums, blogs, or with other creators. This confidentiality obligation survives even after your account is closed. If you’re unsure whether something is confidential, err on the side of caution or reach out to support.
Yes — the content license you grant when you publish content on or through Blaise includes the right for Blaise to use, display, reproduce, distribute, modify, and promote your content in commercial and non-commercial contexts. This means Blaise may feature your content in platform marketing, social media, case studies, or other promotional materials. This is standard practice across creator and influencer platforms, and it helps showcase the creator community while growing the platform.
You can close your account by contacting Blaise at legal@joinblaise.com or through the account settings in your dashboard. Keep in mind that closing your account doesn’t erase obligations you’ve already incurred — such as pending campaign deliverables. Any commissions that have fully cleared all eligibility requirements will be paid out within sixty (60) days. Blaise will retain or delete your data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Yes. Blaise reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including violations of the Terms of Service, fraudulent activity, extended inactivity, or conduct harmful to other users or the platform. If your account is terminated for cause, pending commissions may be forfeited. Blaise takes this step seriously and will typically issue warnings before termination except in cases of fraud or serious policy violations.
Blaise requires you to maintain compliance with the terms of service of any third-party social media platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) you’ve connected to your account. If your social media account is suspended or banned by the platform, this may impact your Blaise account status and eligibility for campaigns. Blaise is not responsible for any actions taken by third-party platforms against your accounts — that risk rests with you. If your social account is restored, contact Blaise support to update your account status.
Don’t worry — this is a standard fraud prevention measure. Blaise may request identity verification at any point, particularly when setting up payouts, if there’s a change in your account information, or if unusual activity is detected. You may be asked to provide a government-issued ID, proof of address, or verification of social media account ownership. Respond within the timeframe specified in the request to avoid any disruption to your account. Your documents are handled securely and in accordance with Blaise’s Privacy Policy.
